Size: 301 by 455 mm.
Note: The bird is stretched out as a dead specimen. Its head is painted with delicate gold highlights. This is presumably meant to be B.2, see NHD2/280, Gibbons’ indication that this drawing, like the rest of 280-4, was prepared for Buchanan before he left India in 1805, and really should be included in his collection, rather than bound up with the Gibbons and Buchanan Collection.
