‘Nemorhaedus goral’
Original inscriptions: [By Wallich] ‘Goral. Received both Goral 27 February 1828. The one I got a short time ago from Gardner is much larger than that here represented and which I saw in Nipal in 1821. It measures/ Length (total from nose tip to end of tail) 3-5/ Height 2-3/ Round middle body 3-4./ Found it excy. difft. to get other measurements although the animal is very tame and very gentle.’
