Two loose drawings inscribed 'Madras R.W.' have been inserted for comparative purposes at some time. These may possibly be drawings belonging to Robert Wight, the Madras Botanist.

Folios 50 and 51, probably Chinese drawings from Malacca. Folio 10 appears to be from a different source: 1796 watermark and a different hand describing the Babid Tree.

Folio 6, 'An Ardent Spirit is drawn from the Bark'; f.19, 'The wood hard and Durable. Much used.'
