Krishna standing beneath a flowering tree wearing a peacock crown and carrying his flute and a jewelled cup (gold flasks and another cup are at his feet), and coloured the same grey-blue colour as Rama beforehand, watches his brother Balabhadra wielding a plough against the rocks which have opened up to let forth a stream.
Inscribed in Persian below: ‘balbhadar. kishen avatar.’
‘16. 8th. Incarnation of Bishen called Kishen Autar, the only one reckoned to have been compleat by the Hindous. Kishen is represented accompanied by his brother Bulbhader.’
