Visnu with ten heads and twenty arms lying on the multi-headed snake Sesa, three of his arms holding his attributes (quoit, mace and conch), the missing lotus springing from his navel with Brahma seated upon it, Laksmi at his feet rubbing a leg and fanning him. The snake lies on the ocean represented as a lotus pond with distant hills, while two demons, Madhu and Kaitabha, lie headless on the surface of the water.
Inscribed in Persian below: ‘ketabha. lachmin. sirkha….? madah.’
‘22. Represents on account of the origin and beginning of the present System. Bishen reclining on the Serpent Sais nag, Latchmy champoing of him and Birmha springing from a lotus flower out of his navel. The destruction of the two Daints occasions such a quantity of blood and gore to issue forth that in time from it and accumulating dust the Earth such as it is is formed.’
