A Brahmin dressed and seated similarly to 28, also telling his beads, with all the necessary implements and offerings for puja (no image, with the saligrama stone at the centre of the implements).
Inscribed in Persian below: ‘. parastish shalagram.’
‘29. The manner of making the Poujah to Salgram, the black stone into wch. Bishen is thought to have been transformed in consequence of a curse from an incarnation of his wife.’
Note: A saligrama stone is one naturally formed with a conch or similar mark on it or else in the shape of such an object.
