A blue and white monkey-like figure with out-stretched arms addressing a goose-like bird with yellow head and beak and black and blue plumage. Below, a brown-skinned, four-headed figure with two arms, seated on the ground, a princely figure with brown cap and scarf and blue tunic kneeling and supplicating before him. At the bottom, a man and woman walking with the aid of staffs.
Note: Identified, above as Harur bonga and Garur bonga, the latter’s goose-like beak again suggesting Has, the gander whose mate, Hasil, hatched the two eggs from which the first Santal pair were born; the centre, as Indra (Daman) Raja begging Sengel bonga to rid him of his eighteen sons (see Add.Or.3493), and, below, the first pair, Pilcu Haram and Pilcu Budhi, setting out for the forest.
