Two majestic figures, with large heads, their legs apart and swathed in yellow dhotis, standing on either side of a female figure in blue blouse and red sari and veil; the left figure with white face and chest; the right figure with blue face and chest; both with rudimentary stump-like arms rising from their shoulders. Below, a large stork-like bird with yellow legs and beak and white and blue plumage listening to a blue monkey-like figure springing towards it.
Note: Above, Sin Cando, Jaher Era, Maran Buru. Below, Harur bonga addressing Garur bonga. According to the artist, local Santals associate Garur bonga with Has and Hasil (the gander and goose who hatched the first Santal parents).
