Krishna standing playing the flute, on either side a milkmaid fanning him. Below, Jasoda seated on a chair, the infant Krishna in her lap; in front of them Balarama (here shown coloured blue) carrying a calf on his shoulders, followed by two figures, one with a short stick, the other with a thin staff and light parasol. At the bottom, two cows and a bull, one of the cows feeding a calf; behind them, the same two figures each with parasols and sticks, Balarama with them.
Note: The two figures with Balarama identified by Jogendra Citrakar of village Jogidih, Dumka subdivision, as two cowherds named Sridam and Suphal.
