The Jagannatha trio shown with human resemblances and varied stances.
- Scope & Content:
-
Similar in basic conceptions to the above but now as if participating in a lumbering dance. Balabhadra in green trousers and knees bent faces the viewer, his right hand on his belly, his left hand on his left thigh. Jagannatha, black-skinned and wearing a red-striped yellow loin-cloth, his knees also bent, jigs merrily beside him. Both have yellow wing-like wooden ‘arms’ with red stripes sprouting from behind their shoulders. Subhadra looks ruefully unconcerned. The Sudarsana Cakra has staged a furtive reappearance in the bottom right-hand corner.
