Inscribed: ‘Sohan bridge, J.A. Armstrong Jul. 14/68’. On original album page: ‘Attock the building of Jack’s bridge. Sohan Nullah in flood South. July 14th 1868’.
18 by 50 cm.
Note: The Sohan takes the waters of the mountains above Rawalpindi to the Indus. The bridge crossed the Sohan just north of Kalabagh on the Indus, and was to carry the main north-south railway line along the east bank of the Indus.
