View looking toweards the main façade of the building, with figures posed in the street in the foreground. 'The chutree, or resting place for travellers, was built as a work of charity by an old Hindoo in the neighbourhood. The front is partially painted. Though erected within the last few years, it is an extremely pleasing example of Hindoo architecture, and without any taint of modern vulgarity.'
