General view of the square single storey building, much marked by shells: 'This was an outpost to the house in which the Mission and escort lived, and was held by the 8th Goorkhas. It was very near the Jong for the Tibetans, as will be seen by the numerous holes in its walls. It was the post which was attacked at night, and in which attack the Tibetans lost so heavily.'
