Stereoscopic view, looking along the facade of inner court of the chateau, with descriptive text, pp. 55-56. Published in part no. 41, November 1861. The photograph was taken by Taylor during John Mounteney Jephson's 1858 tour, described in his 'Narrative of a walking tour in Brittany' (London, 1859), where the photograph also appears, as stereograph no. 72. The Duc de Léon and members of his family are posed on the lawn in front of the chateau.
