- Description: The protocol contains the records of notarial registers from the town of Mompos in the year 1863. It has an index of all the processes that needed to be carried out in the remaining months of 1863. Those processes were related to donations, cancellations of debt, special powers, sales and the organization of meat companies. All public documents are from the province of Mompox. It´s worth mentioning the Madarriaga and Conde commercial company, which purpose was trading with fruits of the country and foreign goods, they have a contract with all the specifications of the company. Some important names in the book are those of Ramon Nieto, Manuel Conde Ribón and Cosme Madarriaga. Physical condition of original material: Hard cardboard cover in gray, has no back. It has 26 sheets with 7 notarial edicts registered. 98% of the content of the book is in good condition and the edicts are signed by Ramon Nieto, public notary. Physical extent of original material: 1 volume, manuscript.
