Letters written to Governor General Charles Canning, primarily relating to military issues, including reorganisation of the Army, but also in relation to appointment of individuals, and other subjects. Letters numbered 98-130 (continued from Eur Mss F699/1/1/3/11), with index. There are no letters numbered 108, 109, 112, 114, 115, & 124. Letter 102a was transferred to bundle labelled 'Trophy Guns' [see Mss Eur F699/1/3/8/4, Military Secretary's Papers on Special Subjects from the 'Feroze'].
