1. Miscellaneous (1930s):
- Undated letter in pencil [c. 1930?] from Auntie Maggie, wishing that Jack and Rose were home again.
- Brief letter with envelope (franked 20 April 1933) to Mrs Rose Rowlands from Ted (brother) congratulating her on the birth of a daughter [Joan].
- Wedding invitation from Mr and Mrs D. Ashworth for the wedding of their niece, on 20 January 1934.
- Two telegrams from Jack Rowlands (1 March and 4 March 1934), having 'arrived safely' in Paris and in Rome respectively.
2. Letters to John and Rose Rowlands from Arthur Rowlands (brother of John):

- 16 March 1947. Letter (2 sheets, in pencil) from Rose, and poem by Joan entitled 'Spain' (1 sheet). With single envelope.
- 21 November [1947]. Letter (2 sheets) from Joan, with envelope. Refers to the wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip (20 November): 'We listened eagerly to the broadcast of the wedding ceremony on Thursday and heard them both say "I will". I didn't hear the rest of the service [because] I had swooned at the sound of Philip's voice.'
- 'Thursday' [1947], Rose to Jack. 2 sheets, with envelope (and small enclosure: 'What I spent I had....').
- 15 March [1950]. Joan to father (1 sheet), and Rose to Jack (2 sheets).
- 6 November [1950], Rose to Jack (1 bifolium, with envelope).
- 28 April 1954 (franking date). Susan to her father, from St Ives (1 sheet with envelope).
- 'Monday' 1954 (franking date). Rose to Jack, referring to Joan's engagement to Michael Bakewell: 'She has her ring & would like to announce their engagement a few days before Christmas....' (2 sheets, with envelope).
