Title: French quitclaim with Hebrew docket

French quitclaim with Hebrew docket by Leon ben Jurnin and Manser ben Ursel ha-Lavan releasing Beatriz of Rattlesden, the prioress and the convent of Flixton from any obligation on the lands she and her convent acquired from Oliver Buscel, son of Robert and Margery.

The witnesses in the Hebrew docket are Jacob ben Jurnin and Manser ben Ursel.

Bertram Ashburnham (b. 1840, d. 1913), 5th earl of Ashburnham: purchased by the British Museum from him together with 1084 other Stowe manuscripts in 1883.
