ff. 1r-1vTitle: Latin sale charter with a Hebrew docketLatin sale charter with a Hebrew docket by Oshaya ben Isaac of York known as Ursel le Eveske of Norwich ben Deulecresse of a messuage in Norwich, in a parish of St. Peter, Mancroft, to William son of Roger of South Walsham (Norfolk).
The Hebrew docket is signed by Ursel ben Isaac and three witnesses: Isaac ben Samuel, Elijah ben Elijah, and Jacob ben Jacob.

William Petty (formerlyFitzmaurice) (b. 1737, d. 1805), 2nd earl of Shelburne and 1st marquess of Lansdowne, prime minister; purchased by the British Museum together with 1244 other Lansdowne manuscripts in 1807.
