- 29 December 1953 (franking date, Sutton Coldfield. Letter without date (5 sheets), with envelope.
Undated letters:
- 2 notes ('I love you') with envelopes by hand [early summer 1953?] and 7 undated letters. References in the letters to time spent together in Florence [August 1953], to the theatre play 'No Sign of the Dove', and to Christmas, and also the personal nature of the salutations ('Dearest'), all suggest that these letters are probably from the autumn of 1953.
