2. BRITTEN, BENJAMIN. Typed letter signed, to [Anthony] Powell, very happy to read his next novel in proof and 'make any suggestions about musical matters' that he thinks necessary. 2 January 1959.
3. BRITTEN, BENJAMIN. Typed letter signed, to [Anthony] Powell, having just read the novel 'with great pleasure'. Makes three specific suggestions about the text. 19 March 1960.
