Commentary by ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAli al-Ḥusaynī al-Jurjānī ( علي بن محمد بن علي الحسيني الجرجاني; d. 1413), known as al-Sayyid al-Sharīf (السيد الشريف), on the al-Farā’id al-Sirājīyah (الفرائض السراجية), a treatise on Ḥanafī inheritance calculation by Sirāj al-Dīn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad al-Sajāwandī (سراج الدين محمد بن محمد السجاوندي, fl. 12th century).
The copy was completed Friday 25 Shuwwāl 1177/27 April 1764 by Ibrāhīm ibn Mullā Ayyūb ibn Gharīb ibn Ibrāhīm (إبراهيم بن ملا أيوب ابن غريب ابن ابراهيم, see colophon, f. 88v, lines 18-20, transcribed below).

وهو ما ورث كل منهما من صاحبه فللأم من ذلك الباقي السدس
وهو خمسة ولابنه كل منهما نصفه وهو خمسة عشر والباقي للمولى
لأن كل منهما لا يرث من صاحبه ما ورث منه فقد اجتمع لأم كل منهما
عشرون ولبنته ستون ولمولاه عشرة ...
