- Scope & Content:
- The book is generally in bad condition. The bookblock - the parchment folios are very deformed and dirty. Most of the folios are broken in the gutters and 8 last folios are partly preserved and not connected with the bookblock. Additionally the edges of all folios are brownish and brittle, mainly as an effect of high air temperature. There are large losses of the parchment in most folios especially in the lower margin. The glass-like layer, as an effect of gelatinization process of the parchment, can also be observed. The binding - The sewing is completely broken and temporary repaired with use of fragments of cord. Half of the bare wooden lower board is preserved.
