- Scope & Content:
- The bookblock - is very deformed and all the folios are very dirty on all margins. Additionally the margins of all folios are yellowish and very brittle, mainly as an effect of high air temperature. The glass-like layer, as an effect of gelatinization process of the parchment, can also be observed. Serious mechanical damages and losses of parchment are visible on ff.: 3-5, 17, 18, 30, 47, 70, 107, 175. The sewing of the book is very weak and broken in many places. The binding - in bad condition, repaired previously with the use of strip of leather fixed to the spine. Original leather is very dirty with losses on the edges and in the corners on the front cover. Leather on the back cover is preserved only in central part of the board. The newer strip of leather on the spine is broken in the joint of front cover.
