- Scope & Content:
- Manuscript is in very bad condition. The bookblock - deformed, wavy and shrunken on all margins due to water damage on most of folios. Margins of first and last part of manuscript are very damaged. The edges of all folios are very dark, brownish and very brittle, mainly as an effect of high air temperature and water. A strong brown water stain is visible in part of folios mainly on upper and inner margins. All folios are dirty on all surface. The glass-like layer, as an effect of gelatinization process of the parchment, can be observed. Especially damaged is last quire, with strong water stains in dark-brown colour on most of its surface and traces of microbiological infection. Last folios have much more extensive losses. In many places text is fuzzy due to water damage. Miniature (f.123v) is in very bad condition. The sewing of the book is very weak. The binding - bare wooden boards, front cover- original, broken, back new one.
