- bespoke retirement card 'signed by your friends in the Department' (London school of Economics, 1982), together with what appears to be Peter Self's retirement speech notes written on the verso of a letter dated 4 Feb 1892 (on black-edged, memorial, 10 Downing St Whitehall letterhead, Arthur Balfour to Austen [Chamberlain?] referring to a subscription for the National Review;
- 30 Jan 1980, typed letter signed (4 sheets) from Andy Sharpless, Washington, together with a copy of published legislation for the State of Wisconsin entitled 'The Citizens Utility Board Act' (28 Nov 1979);
