Copy letters and extracts (24 July – 15 November, 1807). Copies of correspondence intercepted on being sent between members of the exiled Bourbon family and their court in Gothenberg, Sweden, and Gosfield or Hartwell House in England. Principal correspondents are, the King of France, the Duc d’Angouleme, Comte d’Avaray, Comte de la Châtre and Duc d’Havré. All letters in French. Includes:
1. Copy letter (14 September, 1807) to Comte d’Avaray from Duc d’Havré is part encrypted (cypher).
2. Letter (16 October, 1807) to the King of Great Britain (‘Roi de la Grande Brétagne’) from the King of France.
