Paper: 1) Finnish machine-made paper with a stamp, paper had been made in 1915 (f. 1-5, 36-39); 2) Russian machine-made paper with a stamp (f. 10-35, в справочной литературе не обнаружен); 3) Russian machine-made paper without labels. [ref.: Клепиков С.А. Штемпели на бумаге русского и иностранного производства XIX-XX вв. (Дополнение к таблице, опубликованной в 1956 г.). // Археографический ежегодник за 1966 г. М., 1968. № 210]. Writing style: half-uncial script.
Decoration: initials are highlighted with pink inks (f. 10-36); a bottom of “hand” decorated with schematic ornament and painted with colored pencils (f. 10-36); unfinished picture of a hand made with a pencil and without letter calculation, the hand’s bottom is painted with colored pencils (f. 7). The manuscript contains the Dominical letter [Вруцелето] – a method of mental calculation for finding the day of the week of a given calendar date by using fingers and special tables. Binding: late 19th century, cardboard, leather. Readers’ notes. Enclosure: John of Damascus Hand, or Computus [Рука Иоанна Дамаскина] - the calculation using fingers to determine the calendar date of Easter.
8º (size of book block- 170 mmх 108 mm; binding size – 170 mmх 111 mm; binding height – 11 mm). Enclosure – 8 f. (178 mm х 109 mm); 39 f. 8 f. (eclosures); Condition: satisfactory. The manuscript was made in the community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga.
