- Paper: school notebook. Writing style: half-uncial script. Cyrillic numeric pagination. Decoration: headpieces and initials with red inks; end-piece in the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] – triangle-shaped objects (f. 15). The manuscript contains the Canons (church hymns) for Saint Nicholas - one of the most honored Russian Saints (he is considered the most venerated Saint and a patron of peasants in folk Orthodox Christianity, a prayer to him is said in different real life situations) and early Christian Saint and martyr Saint Varus and said for those who died before being baptised. Cover: textile. Enclosures: 1) the Troparion to the holiday of The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Troparion, «Sticheron for 50th psalm» [Стихира по 50 псалме]; 2) fragment of service for an apparition of Our Lady of Kazan (icon). 4º, manuscript size – 203 mm x 168 mm, cover size – 223 mm x 182 mm. 2 enclosures: Enclosure #1 – I f. (190 mm x 166 mm), Enclosure #2 – 2 f. (203 mm x 168 mm); 16 f. 3 f. (enclosures); Condition: satisfactory. The manuscript was made in the community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga.
