Paper: European handmade paper with filigrees 1) a jug with two handles; round body with a lily and letters "MP"; top of the jug – arrow; pan - jug with 2 handles, round body with a lily and letters "MP"; pommel – arrow; pan – trapezoidal leg. Space between chain lines – 200 mm, 11 laid lines within 10 mm (not found in reference books); 2) a jug with two handles; round body with a lily and letters "MP"; top of the jug – arrow; pan - jug with 2 handles, round body with a lily and letters "MP"; pommel – arrow; pan – trapezoidal leg with a rig, space between chain lines – 200 mm, 11 laid lines within 10 mm (not found in reference books ); 3) a jug with a handle, round body with letters "MP", pommel – crescent, space between chain lines – 220 mm, 11 laid lines within 10 mm [ref.: Дианова Т.В. Филиграни XVII в. по рукописным источниками ГИМ. М., 1989. № 729 = 1632 г.]; 4) a shield with a sash, space between chain lines – 220 mm, 10 laid lines within 10 mm [ref.: Дианова Т.В. Writing style: half-uncial script. Decoration: headings and initials with vermillion, headings with Vyaz (f. 60, 118, 182, 226, 280) , schematic end-pieces (f. 181, 280). The Prolog [Synaxarion // Пролог] - collections of brief lives of saints and homiletic essays of Christian writers, for the days of the year. The manuscript contains texts for the period from March to August (without a beginning and ending). Binding: wooden binding, leather with tooling, edge is painted. Owner’s and readers’ notes. 1st half of the 17th century. 2º (size of book block – 293 mm х 190 mm, binding size – 308 mm x 192 mm, binding height – 65 mm); 334 f; Condition: satisfactory.
The manuscript was acquired by the community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga. The manuscript has traces of old restoration (binding was changed), restoration time and place of are unknown. The manuscript was restored at Scientific Library of Tomsk State University.
