Paper: Russian machine-made paper without labels. Writing style: half-uncial script. The scriber (author?) is Mel'nikova Elena Osipovna, Mavra the nun (Мельникова Елена Осиповна, инокиня Мавра). She was a resident of the Tomsk-Chulim skit in 1961/62-1994. Cyrillic numeric pagination (scriber’s).

Decoration: headings, thin initials with colored inks; schematic head-pieces (f. 1, 11, 20, 25, 31); initials with floral ornament (f. 1-4, 10, 11, 13-15, 20-27); schematic end-pieces (f. 11, 13); schematic and added with the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] end-pieces – triangle-shaped objects (f. 19, 30). The manuscript contains quotes and fragments from essays of Christian writers, Lives of Saints and historical research presented in following sections: Holy Communion Without A Priest [tainstvo prichastiia bez sviashchennika / таинство причастия без священника], Heretical Holy Communion [еретическое причастие], Destruction of the Sacrament of Holy Communion [razrushenie tainstva prichastiia / разрушение таинства причастия], and Calculation of the Reign of Antichrist [исчисление времени царствования Антихриста]. Without a cover. Folios are compiled into a notebook and not sewn together.

The manuscript consists of 4 unsewn notebooks, 8° (notebook #1 – 183 mm х 116 mm, notebook #2 - 180 mm х 115 mm, notebook #3 – 180 mm х 115 mm, notebook #4 – 180 mm х 114 mm); 32 f; Condition: satisfactory. The manuscript was made in the community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga.
