Paper: Russian machine-made paper without labels. Writing style: half-uncial script by 2 hands. Text on f. 1-123, 125-172 by Fedosej Minovich [Федосей Минович], Vasiliy the monk [инок Василий], a resident of the Tomsk-Chulym skit in 1960-1987. Cyrillic numeric pagination (scriber’s).

Decoration: headings and initials with red и black inks; initials with floral ornament (f. 12, 19, 44, 54, 57, 59, 62, 66-69, 71, 81-83, 94, 105, 110, 111, 117, 119, 121, 128, 130); schematic end-piece added with the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] – triangle-shaped objects (f. 43, 168); end-piece in the so-called style Playing Text [игра текстом] – triangle-shaped objects (f. 124). The manuscript contains polemic messages of different years about marriage and the doctrine of the Old Believers–Pilgrims. Binding: 1960-1987, wooden binding, textile, leather spine with the ink inscription “o brakakh” [about marriage // о бракахъ], 2 clasps, the edge was colored. Readers’ notes and paper bookmarks with readers’ notes. 8° (size of book block – 176 mm х 108 mm, binding size - 197 mm х 119 mm, binding height - 30 mm); 174 f; Condition: satisfactory. The manuscript was made in the community of Old believers-pilgrims living in the Tomsk-Chulym taiga.
