2. Memorandum (29 October, 1822). Translated ‘Extract of Instructions to M. de Oliveira, the Portuguese Chargè de Affairs at London’. Includes an original copy of ‘Gazeta Universal’ from which the translation was taken.
3. Letters (27 March – 5 April, 1823) between G. Canning, J. Backhouse, Mr Cock and Lord Athenry.
4. Letter (28 September, 1823) to G. Canning from Alexander Caldcleugh along with a letter and a copy letter, both, (8 October, 1823) from Canning to Sir Edward Thornton and from Canning to Caldcleugh.
