1. ‘A Short Abstract of the Settlement made previously to the Marriage of The Right Honble. George Canning with Miss Joan Scott’ (8 July, 1800).
2. Letters and accounts (8 December, 1815 – 30 April, 1816) from John Best concerning Canning’s financial affairs.
3. Letters, accounts, invoices and receipts (14 November, 1806 – 8 March, 1816). Management of financial matters by [John?] Heaton on behalf of G. Canning.
4. Letters and note (4 September, 1817 – 4 May, 1827) between G. Canning and ‘Mr Simpson’ concerning the running of Canning’s estate. Note is entitled ‘Notes on the Bill for more effectually draining Lands in Deeping Fen 4 Geo: 4 Sess: 1823 – with Observations therein applicable to the [Stowgate] Farm in Deeping Fen.’ Includes a printed copy of the bill in question.
5. Letters (9 March – 13 April, 1816) between G. Canning and various respondents whilst resident in Portugal.
