Letters relating to the position of P.G. Wodehouse in Britain after the Berlin Broadcasts, including:
- copies of two letters from P.G. Wodehouse to the British Foreign Office and the Home Secretary, giving his version of the events after his release from internment, 21 Nov 1942 and 4 Sept 1944;
- copy of a letter from Hesketh Pearson to Sir Frank Soskice (Solicitor-General), forwarded with comments to the Attorney-General, asking them to put an end to the state of uncertainty of P.G. Wodehouse, 3 Aug 1947, and copy of a note from the Attorney-General to the Solicitor-General in reply to Pearson stating that 'It is extremely unlikely that we should prosecute Wodehouse if he returns to this country', 8 Aug 1947.
