Photocopies of 30 letters from P.G. Wodehouse to Guy Bolton, written before the Second World War from California (1930 and 1937) and Le Toquet (1939) and after the War from Paris (1945-1947) and New York (1947-1948), and a photocopy of one letter from P.G. Wodehouse to Virginia Bolton, 11 Nov 1947.
The letters concern Bolton and Wodehouse collaboration, Wodehouse work in Hollywood, the play The Code of the Wooster, the petition set up by Bolton to release Wodehouse from internment, the post war period in Paris and the difficulties relating to the Berlin Broadcasts, publication of Wodehouse's novels after the War, difficulties of Wodehouse in obtaining a visa to go back to the US, his return to the US and his work there.
