Photocopies of 15 letters from P.G. Wodehouse to Benoît de Fonscolombe, his French translator of the period 1942 to 1950s, 24 Sept 1942 to 31 Dec 1947, relating to translation of Wodehouse's books into French and sale of his books in Germany, sales of his books and writing projects after his move to New York, sales of his stories for films in France, Wodehouse's financial affairs, and personal news.
The file also includes photocopies of a letter from Wodehouse to M. le Bar, giving permission to translate Hot water into French, 24 Apr 1942, and of a letter from A. P. Watt to de Fonscolombe relating to French rights of Wodehouse's books, 18 Jun 1963.
