- Cologne, 18 Nov 1998. Typed letter (2 sheets), having received Self's response to his paper.
- Cologne, 26 May 1999. Typed letter (2 sheets).
- 12 Aug 2006. Autograph postcard.
- Melbourne, 30 Oct 2007. Greetings card letter. Refers to having sent Self 'the first draft of my book, The First Verse' (not in file), the introduction to which quotes from Self's column on Cologne and Berlin for Building Design ('Babylon', Sore Sites, pp. 60-3).
- Melbourne, April 2009. Bespoke folding card showing Abbany's new-born son, Zafar.

Folding leaflet about the Trust, and photocopied extract from Hansard (House of Lords debate on Probation Service, 5 April 1995). With typed covering letter from Jonathan Ashbridge, founding Trustee.

- Three undated letters written from 54A Leamington Road Villas, London. The first letter (typed) comments favourably on The Quantity Theory of Insanity (1991).
- Brief undated autograph note written from 5 Regents' Park Road, London.
- Six faxed messages, typed and autograph, all from Regent's Park Road. Dates: 30 Oct 1996; 14 Nov 1996; 25 Jan 1997; 16 Mar 1997; 18 Jun 1997; 19 Sep 1997.
- Three faxed messages from Self to Amis: 12 May 1995 (pencil autograph); 'Friday' (autograph, referring to having seen Cronenberg's Crash); undated typed message ('Have a top time in S.A and look out for the local herbaceous border').
