An addendum to the preceding text, al-Risāla al-Shamsīyah fī al-uṣūl al-ḥisābīyah (الرسالة الشمسية في الأصول الحسابية) by Niẓām al-Dīn al-Ḥasan ibn Muḥammad al-Nīsābūrī (نظام الدين الحسن بن محمد النيسابوري; d. 1328 or 1329). The addendum was presumably written in Shīrāz during the late 13th or early 14th century, since it is dedicated to Muḥammad ibn Ibrahīm ibn Muḥammad al-Ṭayyibī (محمد بن إبراهيم بن محمد الطيبي), malik of Shīrāz, and son of Jamāl al-Dīn Ibrahīm ibn Muḥammad ibn Sa‘īd al-Ṭayyibī (جمال الدين إبراهيم بن محمد بن سعيد الطيبي, d. 1306), known as Ibn al-Sūwāmilī (ابن السواملي; see incipit f. 47v, lines 3-15, transcribed below; and al-Ṣafadī, al-Wāfī bi-al-wafayāt, ed. al-Arnā’ūṭ and Muṣṭafá, vol. 6 [Bayrūt: Dār Iḥyā’ al-Turāth al-‘Arabī, 2000], p. 89).

من حسن الاتفاق بع طول الفراق أني استسعدت
بالمعاودة إلى جناب الملك الأعظم ولي الأيادي والنعم
مستخدم أرباب السيف والقلم ناشر الرافة والإحسان
واسطة عقد نوع الإنسان سلطان الأفاضل والأعالي
موس (؟) قواعد المعاني والمعالي رافع أعلام الصدق ناشر
الوية الحق مربي العلماء مقوي الضعفاء ومعين الأقوياء
المنصور من السماء المظفر على الأعداء شمس الملة والحق
والدنيا والدين جمال الإسلام ومغيث المسلمين سر الله
في الأرضين أفضل المتبحرين وأعلم المتأخرين محمد بن الملك
الأعظم السعيد المغفور ملك ملوك الإسلام خليفة الله
في أرضه جمال الحق والدين إبراهيم بن محمد الطيبي أعزه
الله أنصاره وضاعف في بسيط الأرض اقتداره ...
