Composite sheet comprised from 2 originals. Defines the border alignment between the British and Portuguese spheres of influence (Rhodesia and Portuguese East Africa respectively) between 18° South and the confluence of the Sabi and Lundi rivers as arbitrated by Paul-Honoré Vigliani. Portrays hydrology, relief by spot heights and hachures, vegetation, roads and tracks, settlements and the international boundary.
Map detail in English with title and marginalia in French.
Reproduced in 1897 at scale 1:506,880 as I.D.W.O. 1242 (a) and (b). The former portrays minor amendments to the marginalia; the latter is overprinted with the British and Portuguese claims. Filed at Maps 67078.(29.) and 67078.(30.) respectively.
