Extracts from the record of Apollonius, former strategus of the meris of Themistos, who is acting as a judge in a trial in order to decide who shall be held responsible for some damaged rolls of the public archives. The parties involved are three: Euangelus, son of Patron (former keeper of the public archives); Heraclides alias Valerius and Lysimachus, sons Heraclides (former keeper of the public archives), and Harpocration and Acousilaus, sons of the clerk Leonides. After the introductions and the pleadings of each party, a petition produced at the conventus of the prefect and reports of three former sessions are read. The verdicts follow. The papyrus belongs to the archive of Philosarapis.

Fragments from a papyrus roll, written on one side along the fibres, and preserving four columns, the fourth being wider than the others. All the columns are nearly complete with the exception of the first, which is fragmentary. Mounted on cardboard in a glass frame.
