Report sent to Sarapion, strategus of the meris of Herakleides, by the former gymnasiarch Isidorus, concerning some missing or damaged rolls of the public archives, with various annexed documents. The text is part of the archive of Philosarapis.
Lines 1-37: report by Isidorus annexing the letter from Sarapion with the instructions to deal with the matter;
lines 38-41: letter dated to 17 October 108 from the prefect Sulpicius Similis to Ulpius Leonides, strategus of the meris of Herakleides, regarding the petition sent by Heraclides, keeper of the public archives, and his partners;
lines 42-75: petition from Heraclides and partners to Sulpicius Similis;
lines 76-97: petition, dated to 15 May 98, from Isidorus and Protogenes, former keepers of the public archives, to the prefect Iunius Rufus;
lines 98-105: letter annexed to the petition of Isidorus and Protogenes, dated to 9 July 83, from the prefect Laberius Maximus to Pompeius Dionysodorus, strategus of the Oxyrhynchite nome, concerning the petition of Heraclides;
lines 106-109: reply of the prefect Iunius Rufus to the petition of Isidorus and Protogenes, dated to 21 June 98;
lines 110-130: letter dated to 19 May 103 from the prefect Minicius Italus to the strategi of the districts of the Arsinoite nome, concerning the building of a new storehouse and the transfer of the damaged rolls;
lines 131-146: report of a trial before Ulpius Leonides, dated to 16 June 109; two parties are present: the clerk Leonides against Heraclides and his partner's widow.
lines 147-156: written oath sworn by the clerk Leonides, dated to 16 June 109.
