Column 1a: Arabic (CPR III.I.2 11).
Column 1: beginning of the whole account, with a list of sailors requisitioned for various services;
Column 2: continuation of column 1 recto, written in the same ink as column 3 verso;
Column 3: account of provision for the fleet, written in the same ink used for the first half of column 2 verso;
Column 4: blank except for a single line from top to bottom of the roll;
Column 1: further accounts;
Verso:
Column 2: continuation of column 3 recto; written in the same ink as the latter, but in the middle of the column the ink changes and is the same as that of column 1 verso;
Column 3: list of sailors, related to column 2 recto;
Column 4: lines 79-88 account of iron requisitioned for the 8th indiction; from line 89 to end list of sailors;
Detached fragment: a few broken lines with further accounts on both recto and verso.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: 195 x 1040 mm. Detached fragment: 70 x 45 mm. Mounted in a glass frame measuring 315 x 1255 mm.
Script: Small and neat cursive hand, sometimes upright, sometimes more compressed and sloping; the writing of the detached fragment is slightly larger than average.

Provenance: Aphrodito (Kom Ishgau), Antaiopolite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1200-1520 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 20 November 1903.
