Official letter from the governor Qurrah ben Sharik to Basilius, pagarch of Aphrodito, who is ordered to pay the outstanding taxes, both ordinary and extraordinary, at once. He is asked to come to the head-quarters, bringing four men mentioned in some previous letter, along with the register of the dioikesis with details of the tax-payers. Dated to the 8th indiction, Thoth 15. A repetition of this letter is contained in Papyrus 1338 (P.Lond. IV 1339). The papyrus belongs to the archive of Basilius.

Long fragment of a papyrus roll, written on one side, broken off at the top and with gaps affecting the beginning of the first three lines; well preserved as to the rest. Mounted on cardboard in one glass frame.
