Official letter from the governor Qurrah ben Sharik to Basilius, pagarch of Aphrodito, repeating the orders already given in Papyrus 1337 (P.Lond. IV 1338), written one month earlier. Basilius is urged to come to the head-quarters with some four men mentioned in a previous letter, and to bring the register of the district. This register, in addition to the details mentioned in Papyrus 1337, also has to contain details of the landed property of each individual with a distinction between vine-land and arable land; a list of fugitives is to be provided too. Dated to the 8th indiction, Phaophi 12. The papyrus belongs to the archive of Basilius.
