Register of taxes paid in money and kind, arranged on the basis of places: after the epoikia, monasteries are also mentioned. Taxes are both ordinary and extraordinary.
Fol. 1r.-1v.: Small piece with no writing;
Fol. 2r.: Taxes from Aphrodito: single taxes with deductions, quota and balance;
Fol. 2v.: Continuation of further taxes from Aphrodito following the same structure; account of articles for requisition, specifying purposes and amounts, and then providing details of the articles; these are divided between those bought in the dioikesis and those bought elsewhere, but there is no entry for the former here; in two hands;
Fol. 3r.: Account of articles for requisition, additionally featuring manufactured items, subdivided into three groups: those manufactured in the dioikesis, with cost of manufacture and raw materials, those purchased in the dioikesis and those bought from elsewhere;

Book of 14 wide folios, consisting of several fragments of various sizes; none of them is complete, and of the first only a small fragment with no writing survives. Folios 3 to 14 were mounted in separate glass frames; the fragments of folios 1 and 2 were framed together. The unwritten fragment of folio 1 is attached to the left-hand side of the larger fragment of folio 2; two additional fragments of folio 2 were acquired in 1926. Corrections are added in the interlinear space, and sometimes old figures are also underlined.

Materials: Papyrus.
Dimensions: Reconstructed size of each folio: 354 x 730 mm. Framed in 13 glass cases, all measuring 410 x 760 mm with the exception of Papyrus 1409 (10), which measures 410 x 815 mm, and Papyrus 1409 (14), which measures 410 x 335 mm.
Script: Neat, round minuscule of various sizes; folios 2, 4, 5v., 6v. and 8v. also display a rounder and larger hand in lighter ink.

Origin: Aphrodito (Kom Ishgau), Antaiopolite nome, Egypt.
Provenance: Aphrodito (Kom Ishgau), Antaiopolite nome, Egypt. Purchased as part of a lot comprising Papyri 1200-1520 from the Reverend Chauncey Murch (b. 1856, d. 1907) on 20 November 1903. Two additional fragments were acquired in 1926.
