Depicts the track of the Resolution and Adventure in company, and in separation, from their departure from Table Bay in November 1772 to their final separation off New Zealand in October 1773, after which only the Adventure’s track is depicted until her return to Table Bay in March 1774. This tells us, along with the fact that none of Cook’s subsequent discoveries are depicted, that this chart was drawn on the Adventure, not the Resolution, and is therefore attributed to Furneaux.
