(1). ff. 1-123. Printed score of Symphony no. 6 in E minor, published by Oxford University Press in 1948, with conducting annotations and revisions to the musical text in the hand of the composer. A new edition of the symphony incorporating these revisions was published in 1950.
Printed score with pencil and red ink annotations throughout. Signed by the composer on the front cover. The musical revisions are concentrated in Movement 3, Scherzo. Three additional sheets containing a movement-by-movement summary of performance notes are fastened in before the title page; the composer has used the blank versos of letters sent to him in October 1949 (by the Three Choirs Festival, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Institute of Contemporary Arts).
