Two typescript reports illustrated by black and white photographs (pasted in) and diagrams. The reports are bound in one volume, described on the flyleaf as number 4 of 22 copies. Pencil inscription on flyleaf: ‘Given to daughter Ann (Donnelly)’. 15, 8, 9 pages.
- Lecture on the Repair and Rebinding for Trinity College, Dublin, of the Book of Kells, the Book of Durrow & the Books of Armagh & Dimma, by Roger Powell. 1961. Typescript of lecture given by Roger Powell at the Royal Academy, 2 and 3 March 1961, with black and white photographic prints pasted in. Pencil inscription on flyelaf: ‘Copy of Roger Powell’s talk as given overleaf. This copy was given to me by R.P. & some of the photos are missing, because he didn’t print enough! I went in the exhibition at the R.A. I had also helped with the Book of Durrow (in the basement of the British Museum) for a short time, between jobs. Jill Thompson-Lewis.’ Thompson. 22 folios.
