- Title:
- British Somaliland - Ethiopia Boundary Commission. Reduced names traces
- Scope & Content:
-
Reduction of names traces to field traverse sheets 1 to 3 covering the British Somaliland - Ethiopia boundary. Both a French and an English version of each names trace has been reproduced on to this single acetate sheet. The original field traverse sheets at scale 1:125,000 are filed at WOOS/34/1, although sheets 2 and 3 were not present on transfer. The original survey was undertaken by Lieutenant Colonel E.H.M. Clifford, Captain B.T. Godfrey-Faussett, Lieutenant R.H.R. Taylor, Corporal R. Griffiths and Sapper S.L. Terry of the British Somaliland-Ethiopia Boundary Commission.
The traces cover a 150-mile segment of the northern section of the boundary and portray names and grid ticks.
